 Aliens invade city, plan to conquer NBA Premiere Edition January 29, 1999 Aliens from the planet Toc-Tok invaded Mundane City today (pictured above) and quickly took over the tiny town. Their leader, Fizz-El, made the aliens' intentions quite clear. "With the retirement of Michael Jordan, we have decided that now is the perfect time to conquer the NBA. Without the mighty Jordan, your NBA is ripe for conquest! Our team, The Alien Terror, will make the teams in the NBA look like Grava Worms! After that, your puny planet will be ours! Bwa-ha-ha!" The team plans to hold all of their home games at the Mundane City Boffo Bingo Hall. The maximum capacity of the hall is 287. However, there are only 269 people in Mundane City. An exhibition game against the best local team is scheduled before the season begins. Unfortunately, the only team in Mundane City is the local sixth-grade Mundane Moose boys basketball team. "We will show no mercy," said Fizz-El. "After we destroy your pathetic team, the NBA will cower in fear. Nothing will stop us. Nothing!
