Scoring with the Venusian Sisters
The following is a memo from Mark Crilley to all the characters who appear in the Akiko Comic book: "There will be NO SCORING by anybody who appears in Akiko. Anyone who scores will be terminated!" Spuckler: Hey, Beebs. Didja read this here memo from Crilley? Mr. Beeba: What is it now, Spuckler? Spuckler: He says none of us are allowed ta score. If we do, we'll be fired. Ain't that the cruelest thing ya ever heard? Mr. Beeba: What?! That's absurd! I can't believe -- oh, dear! I've already scored! Do you think I'll be released from my contract? Spuckler: Waitaminnit! Whatcha mean ya already scored?! If you can score, then I should be allowed ta score, too!! Mr. Beeba: You? Score? Don't be ridiculous, Spuckler! It takes a special kind of talent to score. A talent that you obviously lack. Spuckler: Now just a gosh durned minute! If ya ain't careful, I'll -- hey! Who didja score with anyhow? Mr. Beeba: I scored with those three lovely young ladies, the Venusian sisters, not that it's any of your business. Spuckler: All of 'em? Beebs, I didn't think ya had it in ya! Mr. Beeba: Really now, Spuckler! I must say it was most enjoyable. Spuckler: I'll bet it was! Mr. Beeba: They are quite talented. It was refreshing to write songs with three of the most famous song writers in the galaxy. Spuckler: Please, don't give me the details. Waitaminnit! Ya scored as in... WRITIN' MUSIC with 'em?! Mr. Beeba: Spuckler, you idiot, of course that is what I meant! What did you think I meant? Spuckler: Oh, nothin'. Hey, Beebs, when Crilley finds out that ya scored, you're gonna haveta be replaced. Hmmm... I wonder if Phoney Bone's available? Mr. Beeba: Now, Spuckler, don't be impetuous. There's no need to tell Mr. Crilley. I'm sure we can work something out. Spuckler: Howzabout ya set me up on a date with the Venusian sisters? Mr. Beeba: All of them? Spuckler: All of 'em! Mr. Beeba: I'll contact them right away! Spuckler: Heh-heh!
