Important disclaimer...
The following story is 100% fictional. I originally did it as an April Fools joke back in 1999. If they ever do an Akiko movie, these people had better not be in it. Scorched Again Studios acquire Akiko movie rights! Scorched Again Studios have secured the rights to produce a live-action Akiko movie! We feel Akiko would make a fine motion picture. We promise all the fans of this exciting comic book that it will remain faithful to its source material. However, we do plan to make some minor changes for artistic reasons. For example: The part of Akiko will be played by the popular singer and actress, Brandy. We will be changing her name from Akiko to Akeesha. Also, she will have a little dog named Orson. The role of Orson has yet to be cast. We understand that every bulldog and poodle in Hollywood is eager to get the coveted role! Since we don't have a very large budget, we have signed Bobcat Goldthwait to play the role of Dr. Beeba. As you can tell, Mr. Beeba has been turned into a doctor. We feel that Mr. Goldthwait's comedic talent would be put to good use if he were playing a doctor. Carrot Top will play the role of Spuckles. The reason we changed Spuckler to Spuckles is because we are making the character more of a "clown-type" character. Also, the hair might be a different color, but it sure does look like Spuckler's! Casting Carrot Top gave us the perfect solution for Gax. The role will be played by Carrot Top's prop box! Isn't that the most brilliant idea ever? We thought you would feel that way. Finally, the part of Poog will be played by a mylar balloon filled with helium. You can imagine what his voice will sound like! Aren't we the most imaginative movie studio around! The story for Akiko will be a lot like the War of the Worlds. A story I'm sure all readers of Akiko are familiar with. We want to let Akiko fans know that the following ten things that make Akiko great will be included in the movie: Political Intrigue Revenge Inspiration Love Friendship Oppression Origami Lunacy Suspense We hope that Akiko fans understand that the minor changes are important to attract as large an audience as possible.
